iOS has built in Keyboard shortcuts - which are a pretty handy thing when it comes to being quick and common used phases. You can also set-up iOS shortcuts for referral links to allow you to type something simple into a full sentence - Let's see how below.

Adding the Shortcut

To add a new shortcut on iOS (9), follow the below procedure:

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. From Settings navigate to General
  3. From General navigate to Keyboard
  4. From Keyboard navigate to Text Replacement (Known as shortcuts on iOS 7 & 8)
  5. Choose the icon located in the top right to (Add New Shortcut.. on iOS 7 & 8)
  6. In the Phrase section paste https://secure.techmania-hosts.com/aff.php?aff={CLIENTID} replacing CLIENTID with your unique ID
  7. For Shortcut we recommend keeping it short, for example we use tmhref
  8. You're done! Now any time you type tmhref (inside any app) your referral link will suggest to type your unique URL.

Removing the Shortcut

To restore all the modifications to the about:config entries, follow the below procedure:

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. From Settings navigate to General
  3. From General navigate to Keyboard
  4. From Keyboard navigate to Text Replacement (Known as shortcuts on iOS 7 & 8)
  5. Swipe across from right-to-left until Delete option appears
  6. Confirm by tapping the red Delete button.
  7. You're done! The shortcut (text replacement) has been deleted.
