An app is crashing I need to provide crash logs

When an app is crashing, developers can resolve the issue quicker if you lend a helping hand by providing your crash logs results. Crash logs are a record of what happened behind the scenes on your phone and help developers to learn exactly what went wrong and why. Below you will find instructions for how to collect and find crash log files.

Windows
  1. Open up iTunes.
  2. Connect your iDevice to your computer.
  3. Sync your device with iTunes.
  4. Navigate using Explorer to the following location, where you see USERNAME you should replace this with your username this is usually C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice.
  5. Select the folder with your device name on it.
  6. Once you are in this folder, locate the files which are from the day of the crash, and appear as appname.crash
  7. You can now send these files in a support ticket to the developer(s).
Mac OSX
  1. Navigate to iTunes.
  2. Connect your iDevice to your computer.
  3. Sync your device with iTunes.
  4. Run Finder & click GO from the menu bar, then select Go To Folder.
  5. Cut and Paste the following text ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice.
  6. Select the folder with your device name on it.
  7. Locate the files which are from the day of the crash, and appear as appname.crash
  8. Send these files in a support ticket to the developer(s).
Android
  1. Download the app called SendLog [Google Play Link] from the Google Play store it's a free app.
  2. Right after the error/crash occurs, use the app with the default "time" option.
  3. Use the "tag option" to email it to yourself and attach it to your support ticket with the developer(s).

Additional Notes
  1. On Windows - The fastest way to get to this folder is to press Windows Key + R (windows key being the key on your keyboard with the windows logo). Then simply paste in the above location after replacing USERNAME with your username and hit enter.
